Ian took 3rd place in his 2nd wrestling tournament ever. We were so proud!
He won his first match in triple overtime--it was a TOUGH match! The second match he lost, which put him in the bottom bracket and the best he could hope for was 3rd place. He had a bye the 3rd round, and then wrestled for 3rd place in his next match. He wrestled the SAME kid he won in the first round and pinned him in about 30 seconds! It was awesome.

Ian continually amazes me with his athletic ability. As someone who has struggled with even chewing gum and walking at the same time, I am envious of Ian. Things seem to come so easy for him in that area. I'm so proud of him and the fact that he's having such a great time doing this.
Almost better that him winning 3rd place is the fact that we FINALLY got him to get his hair cut. You can see his eyes now! :)

The haircut was not lost on me! Love it--tell him I said that. And hug him and tell him way to go for all of us--Mike will be so proud. He was just saying the other day how great of a wrestler Ian is, and will be awesome by the time he's in High School. Proud Mama moment for sure. Yeah!
